A very easy job, this one. That is a particular compliment to Atlas who produced an accurate model in the first place.
To match the Santa Fe prototype I needed an orange beacon, can radio antenna and a relocated horn on the cab roof. Sunshades from A-Line (the brass type last better and don't get knocked off in handling) and a touch up of the paintwork is about all that is required. The hand rails and stanchions get painted and speed recorders are added to the axleboxes on the other side of the locomotive. And that's it. Simple. Oh, and a great runner!
